Episode 24 - Happy Labor Day

Totally forgot to put this picture in the podcast!

Hey hey hey! It's back to school time and it's crazy busy for us.  A brand new schedule to follow and attempt to keep under control.  Emily had her orientation day today and me and hubby got to go with her to meet the teacher, see her class, fill out some forms, etc.  I then took Em out to lunch and off we went to pick up David.  She has her first day tomorrow getting on the bus and all.  Mommy tears will flow I'm sure.

Luckily I filmed last night so I was able to get it up and going overnight. Hope everyone enjoys the minor format changes I made.  Please continue to chime in with all your comments and be sure to enter the 100 member giveaway on our ravelry group! I took a few pics of the prizes, so those will be up soon as well!

Episode 7 - FAIL!

Hello!  What a week.  Birthday party planning, Mother's Day adventures and another glimpse at the now completed Giant Tutu!

And guess what else? I can knit again!  Stitches are out and I'm getting back into the knitting groove. Working to try to finish the "Sunlight Shawl for Sad People" and embarking on an ambitious project of a hand dyed mitered square blanket with mini skeins of wool hand dyed by me.  Great way to experiment with dying techniques which are so much fun!

****************

So I accidentally chopped off my thumb chopping tomatoes for dinner last night.  Went to the urgent care and luckily my smart husband grabbed the ever so disgusting missing piece, through it on ice and gave it the doctor.  They have reattached it, but it's a 50/50 chance wether or not it will take.  I head to my primary care tomorrow to see how it is doing - wish me luck!

So no knitting for a bit and even sewing is going to be a challenge.  I have a few things I HAVE to finish as mentioned in the podcast, so here's hoping the rest of the week goes smoothly.

Thumbs up!!
